We’re Shereen and Mark, the heart and hands behind PBW's. We're a husband-and-wife team with a shared love for animals, a strong work ethic, and a dream to create a grooming experience that feels more like a visit with friends than a chore.

By day, Shereen is a passionate Grade 6 teacher, in Boyle and Mark is a full-time accountant in Athabasca working toward his CPA designation. Outside the office and classroom, though, our hearts belong to the dogs — our boys. Seeing the joy, excitement and overall happiness before, after, and during a groom, we wanted to share a taste of that with each of you.

What makes us different? Along with our love for pups, Mark brings years of hands-on experience showing and grooming his own dogs, as well as working with large 4-H beef animals. From fluffy lapdogs to large breeds with big personalities, no animal is too big of a challenge! He’s calm, confident, and skilled at making even the most hesitant pets feel at ease. Playing off each others strengths, Shereen's soft nature brings out the gentleness in each pups personality. She ensures that they feel their softest through the best bubble bath possible. 

We also take a thoughtful, science-based approach to grooming. We consider your dog’s diet, environment, coat type, skin health, and routine to create a care plan that supports their whole-body wellness. Grooming frequency isn’t one-size-fits-all — so we base our recommendations on breed, coat condition, grooming habits, and lifestyle. Our goal is to help your dog feel their best — inside and out.

As a home-based grooming business, we've created a quiet, comfortable, low-stress environment for your pets — far from the noise and pressure of a busy grooming salon. Our services are tailored with busy working professionals in mind, because we know how challenging it can be to balance a full-time career with the demands of pet care. We’re here to make life easier by offering flexible, reliable, and thoughtful grooming support that helps your dog live their best life — without adding stress to yours.

Most importantly, we're deeply rooted in our community. This isn't just a business —it's a way to give back to the people and pets we care about most.
