Long, double-coated and wooly dogs are prone to getting knots in their coat that needs regular brushing between regular Full Grooms.
We all have busy schedules and it is all too easy to fall behind on this incredibly important function. Matts are made up of an accumulation of knots and debris that have dirt and moisture trapped inside the dog's coat. This creates clumps over time that are challenging to remove and put pressure on your dog's skin. Once this happens, it is generally more difficult and time consuming for the groomer to brush out these dog's coats - increasing the time of the groom - and possibly yielding the need for a full shave down. This option is terrible for many dog's coats and often will never grow back as soft and smooth as it once was. Additionally, many hot spots form from the trapped moisture held against their skin.
We will endeavour to brush out any tricky matts and problematic spots to maintain your pup!
